Analyzing Research On The Taboo Of Mongolian Wrestling

The thesis is composed of five parts, such as the introduction, the content of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling, the forming source of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling, the conclusion and the bibliography.In the introduction, the author mainly introduces the aim for the selected topic, the researches about the topic in the past and the research method applies in the thesis.In first chapter, the author elaborates on the content of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling from four parts which are the taboo of clothing and dressing, the training taboo, the taboo of the wrestling rule and the prize taboo. The author introduces the taboo of clothing and dressing from three aspects which are the taboo of Jangjon hat, the Jangga taboo and the taboo of wrestler's clothing. The training taboo is introduced by two aspects which are the taboo of food and drink and the taboo in daily life. The author also introduces the taboo of the wrestling rule from four aspects which are the taboo of wrestlers' arrangement, the wrestling taboo, the taboo of wrestling skill and the referee's taboo. In this chapter, the author makes the systematical analysis of the content of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling.In second chapter, the author discusses the forming source of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling from three parts which are the belief source, the source of traditional home education and the source of symbol. The belief source is originated from Mongolian primitive belief that adoring strength, life and homeland. The source of traditional home education gives the power, the courage and the moral to Mongolian wrestlers. The source of symbol is related to the symbols of luckiness, inheritance and harmony in Mongolian life.In the thesis, the author analyzes the content of the taboo of Mongolian wrestling and it's forming source and summarizes the noticeable function of Mongolian wrestling for the Spiritual civilization by studying the cultural connotation in the taboo of Mongolian wrestling.
