"Form"and"verve"is two basic concept of Chinese painting theorie. The relations of"form"and"verve"is an important theoretical problem of Chinese figure painting Creation which is repeated discussed. Whenever, research the relations of"form"and"verve"is necessary, on our creative innovation is helpful. The history of the development for several thousand years In China, ancient philosophers, artists, and theorists have different levels of theory for the relations of"form"and"verve".The earliest can be traced back to the perspective of form and verve in the ancient Chinese philosophy. Since the Pre-Qin times, Philosophy had already started to discuss around the the relations of"form"and"verve". Dongjin dynasty Gu Kaizhi concluded on the basis of previous view, the first systematically discusses the elations between form and verve in figure Painting. Gu Kaizhi of the"vivid", a milestone for the aesthetic History of Chinese Painting. The study of Chinese figure painting to our creativ further is very helpful in today. At the same time, on the basis of Gu Kaizhi's perspective of"form"and"verve". The discuss of other artists on the relations of"form"and"verve"for our figure painting to explore necessary supplementary, theory and practice have been perfect. We can know that the"form"and"verve"is the two aspects of one works, relaying on their theoretual proposition drown. If we abandon the"form"we will not achieve the goarl of expressing the"verve", and achieving the"verve"is in the"form".The discussion of"form"and"verve"continues from ancient times to today. In this paper,on the basis of Study Ancient Philosophy perspective of form and verve and we try to explore the retional application of the relationshio between the"form"and"verve"in the creation of chinese figure painting of the contemporary era, on the basis of study ancient philosophy perspeitive of"form"and"verve"and the theories of the"form"and"verve"of other aritists who reprentated bu GuKaizhi. With social progress, Chinese and Western cultures exchange. We can not discard the theory of the tradition of china when we learn the modeling techniques of west. On a painting, "form" and " verve " are not exist in isolation."Form" is not a simply mechanical maps, but is objects characteristics of sublimation; "verve" is not a hollow surface expression, but heart and soul of the characters of object embody. "Form" and " verve " is not external outstanding performance of the physical and inner spirit only, but is harmony and unity,"form"and"verve"should to be expressed suitally, more ritalily, more intension, and more meaning.
