"The Pure Beauty" And "the Dependant Beauty" In Kant's Aesthetics

Kant divide beauty into two types in the Judgment of Taste : " Free beauty " and "dependant beauty " . Among them , the "Free beauty " which is the result of pure aesthetic appreciation and the " dependant beauty " which is the result of impure aesthetic appreciation constitute together the basis of Kant's Aesthetics , and all types of beauty in real world belong to them .This dissertation can be divided into three chapters: 1. purpose . Morally good and judgement. 2 . Free beauty. 3 . dependant beauty.In chapter 1, this dissertation emphasized on three philosophical concepts——purpose , morally good and jugement , which were closely correlated with the Kant's Aesthetics . Among them , identifying whether they have purpose is the important standard of " free beauty " and " dependant beauty " ; The morally good , which is related with " the pure practical reason freedom " , is the important commotation of " dependant beauty " ; Judgement can also be divieded into two types : one is a logical judgment, the other is an aethetic judgment, and the latter can communicate two realm of nature and freedom.In chapter 2, this dissertation introduced some basic connotations and typical manifestations of " free beauty" . The " free beauty ", which is the prescription for the four aspects of quality . quatity . relationship and pattern , is the type of beauty that is only related to form . People can experience the " free beauty " from natural products and artifacts . In addition , Kant also attempts to discuss the judgment standard of " free beauty " by analzing aesthetic specification idea.In chapter 3 , this essay mainly discussing the basic connotation and the typical manifestation of " dependant beauty " . purpose , which ruled that one thing should be what, is the prepequisite of analyzing " dependant beauty " , and the "dependant beauty " have more examples in daily life than the " free beauty " . The "dependant beauty " can be divided into two types : " the dependant beauty related to conception of understanding " and " the dependant beauty related to rational idea " , among them , the latter which is related with the morally good is the emphasis in this paper , so , this dissertation will discuss the dependant beauty from three respects : natural products . artifacts and human beings , and mainly expound some conceptions concluding sublime , artistic beauty and the beauty of virtual.
