Xie Qikun was a famous scholar during the reign of Emperor QianLong and JiaQing in Qing dynasty. He was also a representative poet of the school of Texture, and in a higher status on the poetic world in Qing Dynasty. Whatever in the scale or in the level, his verse of poetry theory has a significant meaning for the development of the verse of poetry theory in Chinese antiquity. The verse of poetry theory is a special form about poetics theoretics in Chinese antiquity. It comments poem by the form of poem, places poetics theory in poem itself. Since long time ago, the academic circle's research about the verse of poetry theory has been weak, and the special study of some writer's verse of poetry theory in some dynasty was extremely rare. Therefore, this dissertation tidies and studies Xie Qikun's verse of poetry theory , and mainly researches three problems: Xie Qikun's poetics view, his verse of poetry theory's creation mode, and the reorganization about his verse of poetry theory.In chapter one, the dissertation researches Xie Qikun's poetics view. In Zeng Zhidong's paper of master's degree named collating and noting of Xie Qikun's shujing house poems on history and Xia Houxuan's paper of master's degree named collating and noting of Xie Qikun's shujing house essays, there is a detailed introduction about Xie Qikun's life, so the same content isn't formed a section in the thesis, and only appeared at the necessary moment. Firstly, the paper introduces the conditions of how Xie Qikun's poetics view formed. Xie Qikun lived during the reign of Emperor QianLong and JiaQing in Qing dynasty. In this period of time, the society and policy were steady, the science viewpoints were prosperous, the schools of Parnassus were numerous. In the same time, the government of Qing dynasty put an enticeable and suppressive culture policy continuously. Xie Qikun's poetics view was formed in this condition. Secondly, the thesis analyses Xie Qikun's poetics view. Combining with other information, making use of Xie Qikun's verse of poetry theory, the thesis researches seven aspects in this process: theory of history of poetry, the ontology, the function discuss, the style theory, theory of poet, theory of poetic creation, skill theory, and holds Xie Qikun's poetics view as a whole. The thesis acknowledges the viewpoint that Xie Qikun's poetics view and the poetics view of Weng Fanggang, who was Xie Qikun's teacher, come down in one continuous line generally; and Xie Qikun's poetics view are both far from Tang dynasty and close to Song dynasty in a overview.In chapter two, the dissertation studies the creation mode of Xie Qikun's verse of poetry theory. They aren't compiled to a contact book, and are embodied in the primal volume of shujing house poems and the later volume of shujing house poems written by Xie Qikun, as well as the book ten thousand of Chinese classic poetry review compiled by Guo Shaoyu, Qian Zhonglian and Wang Juchang. The version of Xie Qikun's verse of poetry theory is the version of the book which contains Xie Qikun's seven groups of the verse of poetry theory actually. In the last, there is an annotation for the book inditing one hundred Chinese classic poetry review imitating Yuan Yishan after reading the complete poetry of Tang dynasty written by Xie Qikun.
