This paper systematically studies the"after 1980s"writting in the consumerism context.With the development of economy and globalization, the tendency in our country is irresistible. The principle fashion has prosperously provided the brand-new content for the contemporary esthetic activity, simultaneously changed people's esthetic orientation in modern society.It emphasizes esthetic pleasure and desire, popular artistic production, marriage of esthetics and money, commercialization and industrialization. It is exactly because they growing up in the consumption time that"after 1980s"' way of creation, transmission, and acquisition is extremely affected by consumerism culture.In creation, because they grow up in the market economy time which is in vogue in the hedonism and the material principle, the pragmatism and utilitarianism have substituted for the idealism gradually, in theirs work we could not see incisive society contradictory and complex political struggle, but the campus life, the puberty love affair description, pursuing individual emotion divulging to the fashion common custom life tendency.On transmission,"after 1980s"' success is inseparable from the media and commercial packaging. On one hand, with this tool, young generation could release their emotion, express imagination, speak out and go on stage to show themselves; on the other hand, they are also dubbed as commercial products. Therefore, their writings are inevitably influenced and restricted by marketing. Commercial interests outweighs everything else makes the"after 1980s"' quick-buck writers who do not hesitate to choose market values rather than aesthetic ones, weakening ideological depth and artistic content.In the way, the young readers worship them as idols and role models showcases the low level of reading and entertainment due to blind pursuit of"frenzy"readings in such a consumer era , the"after 1980s"writers are regarded as"symbol idol"for consumption, so all this has made their personal charm in literature concealed by stars'halo.Deeply influenced by the consumption culture, the"After 1980s"writers have a long way to go. If they want to go further on the literature path, they must abandon the negative effect on their creation by the consumption principle, and try to create diligently, enhance their own literature tutelage. In the long run of literature exploration process, they should persevere the intellectual's cultural mission and energetic responsibility on the one hand, and expand their influence through the media and the market condition on the other; treating writing as supreme on one hand, and gives dual attention to the market influence, thus creating a new path different from the traditional literature creation.
