Britain was the country which the first carried out Industrial Revolution in the world, Industrial Revolution not only had led to the social productive force's advance, but also had aroused social productive relation's change. Industrial Revolution is a reform which effect relates to social life's all sides. While Industrial Revolution brought about powerful productivity, it had also aroused society, family's change, all these had significant effect to Britain woman. Though at Industrial Revolution's initial period, most woman were confined within the family, what all of knowing to them was few. But be accompanying the industrialization and the development of politics' democratization, a lot of woman had began to go out of their family and walked into the external world. They had become the independent labourer and could earned wage by themselves. In the process they had been striving for the equal right with male, women's social position also improved.This essay is trying to apply a holistic and deep analysis to Britain women's political, economy, education, marriage and family position. It is by this way that a better understanding of the change of women's social position in the period of Industrial Revolution. Apart from the foreword and conclusion, it consists of four parts.The first part is the general description of Britain woman's political status during the Industrial Revolution. This part has mainly presented the women's untitled status in social politics before Industrial Revolution, and woman run after their political right, their political status gradually rise in the industrialization stage.The second part is the improvement of Britain women's educational status, which has mainly analyzed the women's educational situation before Industrial Revolution, the reformation of women's education during the Industrial Revolution.The third part is that Industrial Revolution has promoted women's strengthening for that economic independence, which has mainly analyzed the workwomen's economic contribution to their family, the upper strata class woman's increasing opportunity of work in the external world.The fourth part is Britain woman's marriage and family status during the Industrial Revolution, which has mainly analyzed Britain woman's marriage and family situation before Industrial Revolution, woman's marriage and family status' improving in the industrialization period.
