Inspection Of Quasi-fixed Structure "X Lai X Qu"

This thesis choose one type of the quasi-fixed structure"XlaiXqu"to inspect.By describing the sructure and explaining it in grammerticalization and cognitive aspect, we hope to enrich the reserch of the quasi-fixed structure and apply it in teaching more effectively.Apart from the introduction and conclusion,there are six chapers in this thesis.The first three chapters based on the word-class of X to describe the construction,syntax ,grammatical meaning of"VlaiVqu","AlaiAqu","NlaiNqu"from synchronic plane. we summerized the semantic condition of X;the relation between X1 and X2;the grammatical meaning and the feature of syntax of"XlaiXqu".Chaper 4 contrasted and summarized the content in the first three chapers .we find that"VlaiVqu"is in accordance with"NlaiNqu"in grammatical meaning,but in accordance with"AlaiAqu"in syntax,and then explain the textual function and style of the phrase"XlaiXqu".Chaper5 explained the description of synchronic plane from cognitive aspect.We explained that"XlaiXqu"is unbounded in the aspect of"boundedness and unboundedness",which we used to explain why the phrase can't act as predication alone and there must be a following sentence behind it.Then we discussed the bleached degree and blending degree,piont out the relation of all complicated classification inmeaning.From the subjectivity aspect we also discovered that"XlaiXqu"expresses subjective adequate quantity in"liang"category and X usually signifies complete quantity.Chapter 6 explored"XlaiXqu"in the grammerticalization aspect.The phrase come into being in XiHan Dynasty.Before that period, people offen use"XwangXlai"to express the meaning in literatures.The phrase tends to produced by parallel sentences.The earlist members of"lai\qu"in all kind of"XlaiXqu"have substantive meanings,and then begin to bleach.In"VlaiVqu","AlaiAqu",the core of meaning changed to V and A,but in"NlaiNqu",the vitality is gradually reduce. It's in accordance with the classification of bleached degree which we discovered in synchronic plane.
