Research On Design Languages In Network Vision Art

As a carrier of information, network provides a new design subject for the development of vision art. At the same time, with its development till today, vision art changed its form and content due to the injection of network. Network is impacting the original structure principles of design and transformation and alternation of design languages with its special attributes.This paper tries to build a relatively comprehensive theoretical framework about the current network vision art, make an overview and sortation as to the proprietary design languages of network vision art, and based on these work, predicts the future and development trends of network vision art's design style with a deep insight.Firstly, the author would like to define network vision art as a kind of media art that takes digital network as medium and applies digital technology to achieve visual interaction and spread in the course of implementation. Therefore, its design languages show the diversity, and grow across with film design languages, graphic design languages and digital art languages.Secondly, as a new form of art, it's reasonable for network vision art to own its special design languages from the prospective of its development time and especial background of information age and technology boom. But meanwhile its design languages give birth to the design languages of traditional vision art because network vision art is a kind of vision art. Hereon, this paper is divided into two parts on:The first part is about integration and absorption to the vocabulary of traditional vision art. This will mainly start with the common design languages of vision art and further interpret these languages' extension and particular roles playing in network vision art, which are different from the roles in traditional vision art.The second part is about deduction and expansion of digital technology vocabulary. This will mostly describe the design languages brought by the continuous advancements of technology and gradually exhibiting characteristics of network such as virtuality and reality, deconstruction and reconstruction, collage and replication, ideology and nonlinear and so on.Finally, the author does a forward look and thinks on the evolution direction of network vision art's design style.
