A Study On Wang Maolin'Poetry And Prose

Wang Maolin mainly lived in the region of Yangzhou in the early Qing Dynasty, he was an important writer, but he was not taken seriously by the academic, so the paper is going to be exploring him from four aspects.The introduction makes a simple description on Wang Maolin , and summarizes the present development of studying the peotry of Wang Maolin.The second chapter is the collection of the life experiences less than 50 years of Wang Maolin according to the existing data, including the comprehensive outline his family,the experiences of being official,making friends by communicating culture and his work and so on . This chapter analyzes the character of Wang Maolin and the writing style of him on the basis of the change of the geographical and cultural history of Yangzhou.In the third chapter, Wang Maolin' prose is relativly devided into several kinds:the prose that performing a patriotic emotion and loyal feeling to the emperor, the prose advocating the spirit of recluse,the prose supporting the concept of filial piety, the scenery prose embodying the humane flavor and the speculation prose having a tight system, and the writer makes an analysis respectively to the advantages and disadvantages of them.In the fourth chapter, the author makes an exploration to the poetry in details. Based on classification, the author makes a detailed analysis to them in order that the author can have an real understanding to literary thought and artistic features in Wang Maolin' poetry.
