The Semantics And Theoretical Study Of Rhetorical Category "Qu"

Qu is an important rhetorical category in ancient China.In the first part of the paper, the research results made on Qu by present academe were synthesized and arranged.In the second part, it described the semantic development of rhetorical category Qu from diachronic angle. Moreover, rhetorical category Qu's related theories of Yan Yu in Song Dynasty, Gong'an School in Ming Dynasty and Xing Ling School in Qing Dynasty were discussed.The third part analyzed semantic features of rhetorical category Qu from synchronic angle, and introduced aesthetic features of the signified of Qu completely.In the last part, combining with practical writing, from definition,application and language feature three aspects, it expounded compound rhetorical category which is formed by morpheme Qu : Tian Qu,Qi Qu,Li Qu,Feng Qu .
