This thesis takes the V+N disyllabic compound words collected in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary as the research subject, to inspect their inner semantic relations. After counting the V+N disyllabic compound words, we find that on the basis of the traditional word-building, these nouns can be divided into two kinds: modifier-head structure and verb-object structure.Theoretically, this thesis uses the research approach of predication structure analysis, semantic case and cognitive linguistics as its analytical methods. In the research, firstly, on the basis of V+N word-building, this thesis compiles the V+N disyllabic compound words found in the Contemporary Chinese Dictionary and according to the traditional word-building, divides these words into V+N modifier-head structure compound noun and V+N verb-object structure compound noun. Then, it compares and analyzes these nouns to find their similarities and differences, especially pays more attention to the differences emerged in the process of word meaning establishment. The surface layer syntactic relation of V+N modifier-head structure compound noun shows the relationship of modifying and modified, while in the bottom layer of semantic meaning, according to theories of predication structure and etc., it has different circumstances: verbal morpheme V is the predication of the predication structure, and the nominal morpheme N means argument. The semantic relations between them may directly be "predication and agent", "predication and subjective", "predication and dative", "predication and accusative", "predication and results". On the other hand, their relation may be in complicated circumstance, in which V and N come from different proposition, and the two propositions have semantic relations, which shows different levels. The acceptations of V+N disyllable compound words come from the combination or synthesis of the morpheme meaning. The surface layer syntactic relation of V+N verb-object compound nouns shows the relationship of dominating and dominated. In semantic meaning, they are simple, which belong to three kinds of "predication and accusative", "predication and agent" and "predication and subjective". The acceptation changes and the pointing have no methodser to show. In this kind of nouns, two morphemes are not the qualified word of the new word, and the new acceptation is combined from the two morpheme meanings. In the analysis of two morpheme's semantic relations, we find that they do not just show logical relationship. For example, V+N modifier-head structure compound noun shows modifier-head relation, while it also implies semantic relations of "predicate+ subjective argument" or "predicate+ objective argument"; V+N verb-object structure compound noun shows verb-object relation, while in the process of paraphrase, it should be supplemented the modifier-head relation. After the semantic analysis of these two compound words, we can clearly realize the source of their acceptation and the forming of their structure sense. Many of V+N disyllabic compound words change their meanings, such as changing their agents, results or tools. Compressing the verb-object structure to noun is a nonobjective process. The change of compound words' meaning has much to do with cognizance.
