The harmony between human and nature has always been a dream of human beeings. Since the Renaissance, the subjectiveness of humans and the significance of tools have been so exaggerated that the contraditions between human and nature has stood out day by day, which has resulted in the survival crisis to human beeings. To resolve this crisis, modern ecological philosophy has explored the relationship between human and nature from various angles. And it turns out that the ecological view on nature of Marxism is the most reasonable and effective approach; Because Marxism has reflected the essence of the relationship between human and nature, i. e. human and nuture are interrelated with each other, and the harmony between them is contributory to theit mutual development. There is no doubt that the theoty of ecological value of Marxism serves as a theorical guide in constructing an ecologically civilized and harmonious society.Under the guidance of Marxism, the present author has compared different points of view on nature between Chinese and western cultures during different periods, and proposed her own point of view on this issue. Firstly, The author has explored the different attitudes towards nature of both Chinese and weatern cultures. The former prefers a harmonious realtion between human and nuture, whereas the latter aims to conquer the nature. Then the author has expounded Man's attitude toward nuture in Modern times: the importance of human has been emphasized and the role of nature has been neglected. In the end, the author has tried to figure out the solution to survival crisis and held that the theoty of ecological value of Marxism is the best way for humans to"return"back to nature.The thesis provides a way of thinking for us to understand our living environment and survival crisis. It also helps rteus to change the traditional way of thinking and view on value, andbuild an ecologically civilized and haumonious society.
