| With the strengthening of the reform and opening up, a special group of people called"left-behind"children appear due to the large-scale migration of rural surplus labor force in recent years. Although it is assuredly that the phenomenon of"migrant-worker economy"helps to improve the inland rural economic environment greatly, it has also led to an increasingly prominent mental health problem of the left-behind children. It has reached a common understanding that it's urgent to enhance the education of the left-behind children's mental health and improve their mental health level. However, the research methods employed by most of the existing researches on left-behind children's mental health are survey, reason analysis and optional research of a certain single element, and there scarcely are systematic and empirical studies employed.Based on the modern left-behind children's actual mental health problem and the deficiencies of former researches, the thesis investigates the left-behind children's problem thouroughly by employing"Left-behind Children's Living Condition Questionnaire"and"Left-children's Guardian Questionnaire". With systematic theory, the researcher carried out a systematic intervention on 50 left-behind children, which consists of intervention on subject-children, teachers, parents and classmates, by ways of group counseling, individual counseling, teachers'participation training, class'subject-based activities, parents'tutorial etc.. The thesis makes an initial exploration on how to enhance left-behind children's mental health level by means of mental intervention and aims to provide a theoretical support and some feasible teaching approaches to mental health education. The research adopts a multidimensional assessment on research findings, which consists of quantity and quality assessment, process and findings assessment, self-and-others'assessment and reports of case study. The findings prove that it's effective to apply systematic intervention theory and technologies to enhance left-behind children's mental health level. |
