The Hongnu Ruled Xiyu And Its Ruling Policy

Xiyu located in the silk road,because of its special geographical position, in ancient times ,the north nomadic nations and Chinese dynasties scrabbled for the place.The first nomadic nation who contacted with xiyu is HUNGNU.This thesis will analyse relationship between Hungnu and Han Dynasty,and relationship between Hungnu and Xiyu ,to summarize Hungnu'policy of ruling Xiyu.All paper consists of four parts:First part:explain the main content of this thesis,and expatiate the meaning of the selected subject.Second part:explain the survey of Xiyu'culture and geography,during Western Han dynasty and Eastern Han dynasty.Third part:sum up the process of Hongnu who conquered Xiyu,defended Xiyu, lost Xiyu,at last, entered Xiyu again.Fourth part:The policy of Hungnu ruled Xiyu.
