The dissertation has systematically discussed Wu Shugara's literary-history works and theoretical comment , using Marxism'way of literature and art, expounding method and comparative analytic approach, and then demonstrated his outstanding contribution to the research of Mongolian literature and his academic position.Wu Shugara is a literary-historian and literary-commentator. He has written Mongolian modern-contemporary literary-history and Weirat-Mongolian contemporary literary-history, frequently participates in the activities of literary criticism and devotes himself to the development of Mongolian literature. Therefore it has practice and long-term meanings to summarize and illustrate literary-history works and theoretical comment.The dissertation consists of conspectus and three chapters. In the first chapter, widely discusses Wu Shugara's literary-history works from the influence to the material construction of Mongolian literature and his works' characteristic, content and method. In the second chapter, proves Wu Shugara's study for writers and works and his understanding of several literary problems. In the third chapter, discusses and summarizes Wu Shugara's literary viewpoint, visual angle of research and his academic ideology.
