Lenin's Thoughts On The Inherent Contradictions Of Soviet Russian Democratic Political Construction

It was during revolution and construction practice that Lenin put forward and developed his thoughts on the inherent contradictions of Soviet Russian democratic political construction. Early on the eve of the October Revolution, Lenin wrote the famous work"State and Revolution"after inspection on history and profound thought, and put forward the proposition that a democratic regime similar to the Paris Commune should be set up after the victory of Russian revolution. After diverted to the New Economic Policy, Lenin got his new thoughts of solving the contradictions in the practice of economic development, which was to reform authoritarian system thoroughly, establish democratic politics that was consistent with relatively free economic development, through promoting democratization in the state regime activities and developing inner-party democracy vigorously to promote the continual development of Soviet Russian democratic politics. On this basis, Lenin put forward his proposition on building Soviet Russian characterized socialistic democratic political system in his old years'dictation essays. However, as the premature death of Lenin, Stalin had gotten unlimited rights, and his personal rights was growing continuously, which resulting the democratic regime construction process forced to be suspended since the beginning of the New Economic Policy. Actually, it had reinstated the highly centralized system of Wartime Communist Period or even similar to Czar Authoritarian Period to some extent.The inherent contradictions of Soviet Russian democratic political construction are also widespread contradictions which a vast number of relatively backward countries have met with in their own democratic political construction. Therefore, the resolving of the contradictions has broad sense in the socialist world, and it should be the theme of democratic political development studies. However, due to Stalin's highly centralized system, socialist countries did not realize the inherent contradictions existing in the democratic political construction for a long time, and couldn't put the resolving of the contradictions on the agenda. Reflecting on the tortuous process of the socialist countries'democratic political construction, we could realize that Lenin's thoughts on the inherent contradictions of Soviet Russian democratic political construction still have important inspirations today, is a topic worth to study.
