Verdi And Puccini Soprano Aria Art Style And The Concert Features Study

As a kind of comprehensive artistic form, opera consists of a great deal of artistic elements, of which aria can give prominence to the affections and personality of the characters as well as plays a crucial part in building up the composer's unique style. Therefore, it is of great importance to master the composer's aria style for the success of a singer's play. Because of their conspicuous achievements in the field of opera composition, the aria works of Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini have been frequently practiced by many vocal music learners and singers. However, it is neither wise nor beneficial to their development to choose this kind of works when the learners have not gained enough vocal acrobatics and experience. Being a soprano voice part herself, the author has been familiar to the both composer's works of this type.
