Japanese proletariat literature is the world literature treasure in the Asian proletariat literature and even in the world literature. As the represented writer of the Japanese proletariat literature, Takiji Kobayashi takes his life and words as the weapon, fighting bravely with the state apparatus of the emperor of Japan. On this spot, his firm spirit and courage which struggle with the Japanese State and win the worldwide respects. His representative work The Cannery Boat describes the Japanese social situation in the late 1920s and reflects the plantation history which is full of tears of blood. It not only establishes the pioneer position of Takiji Kobayashi in the Japanese proletariat history of literature. At the same time, it leads the Japanese proletariat literature to the world proletariat literature stage.Taking the Marxism theory as the instruction and utilizing dialectical materialism and historical materialism viewpoint and method, with full understanding of Takiji Kobayashi's original work and widespread reading of relative literatures, the present study analyzes the work The Cannery Boat in details so as to seek its literature value and the charm of Takiji Kobayashi.Takiji Kobayashi is a warrior, he continued the exploration and excavation all his life and discovered the meaning of life. The Cannery Boat is such a work. In the early 20th century, the world is chaotic like that of the time of Pan Gu, the innate licking-up nature of capitalism in the gestation period does not cover up, and the fragility of humanity and sense of helplessness and the consciousness of resistance has been greatly demonstrated. After the analysis of this political work, the character image, the opposite relations and the space in The Cannery Boat obtained the thorough research and the development. In the new era, this classic Japanese proletarian work of literature has great effect on the Chinese re-evaluation of the left-wing literature and world literature.
