A Study On Target Object In Modern Chinese

The problem of object is a kind of main point in Modern Chinese research.A lot of product has been obtained in object research.But rare books or papers study deep inside the second category of object.The study on target object is much less.The so-called "the target object" refers to the object denoting the target of action.It is a subcategory of object divided from the semantic perspective.Its characteristic in form is that the object can be put in front of the verb by using"对\向\与\给"or we can add"给"in front of the object.The article sets out to examine examples from "Verb Usage Dictionary"[Arrange 1987 by Meng Cong(孟琮),ecc.]and examples the researcher collected and recognized as "the target object".By the dicrection of "three planes "grammar theories,combined with case grammar theory and the theory of antetype category,we make overall researches on target object.The text is made up of four parts:Zero:Foreword StateThis part mainly introduces the current situation,the content of this paper and theory methods and the source of language material.It also explanes the purpose and meaning of this research.One:The Definition and Variety of "the Target Object"We define the target object both in form and sense,in form especially,we put forward systematic methods on testing it in form.As to the kind of the target object,we divide it into two sorts according to the verb,one is man,the other is thing,then we divide each of them into second category.Two:Investigation of the Verb Nature that Can Control "the target object"We investigate the verb in three aspects:the verb's semantic character,the verb's semantic type and the verb's capability of controlling objects.It draw that the verb has nature of controllable,acting one's own and changeless.And from the semantic perspective it contains the verb that express the meaning of sociality,cognition and contact.It contains the verb that can control one object and two objects,we can divide the latter into three kinds.Three:The Analysis of Target Object from the Perspectives of Pragmatic and CognitionWe analyze the factors that generate the target object from the perspectives of pragmatic and cognition.From the perspective of fragmatic,target object is the cause of the principle of econmy and focus.From the perspective of cognition,it accords with the theory of distance cause.Furthermore,we can divide target object into model target object and atypical target object,and they are different in the level as targer objects.Four:ConclusionThis part makes a summary of the study and expounds the significance of the research.It also points out the limitations of the study and how to complete it.
