Poetry Research Of Zhengxie

Under the influence of Qingli scholar officials'enterprising spirit of considering people's emergency as their own duty, and ignoring their own lives, there is a group of poets in the scholar community in the middle North Song Danasty----"TengTuZhengGu"who lived unrestrained and talented in letters and uncomentional in a kind of poem and wine life style. It took Zhengxie, Tengdadao, Wangfuzhi as representatives. Zhengxie(1022₁072), who comes from Anlu county of Hubei provine, got the NO.1 in the hightest imperial examination in Huangyou 5th when Renzong was the emperor. We research Zhengxie's poetry in the total period, summarize Zhengxie's poetic achievements and display Zhengxie's effect in poetry history of North Song. The paper is made up of three chapters:The first chapter: The scholar style and poetry style of"TTZG"and the family background of Zhengxie.There is a kind of scholar style which named"TTZG"by Wanganshi in the middle North Song, we can find evidence in many full and accurate history works of official, notes and other collected work of the writers. This style is different from the orthodox scholars which pay attention to self-control and moral character, it is heroic, unrestrained. Affected by"heroic"scholar style, the poetry style of"TTZG"is represented by three different forms: poem of hero, poem of famous scholar, poem of banished. Zhengxie born in the rich merchand and military profession family became scholar official because of the nation policy of preferring intellectual to warrior. His personality is a contradiction of inside tigh and outside relaxation because of struggles between parties.The second chapter: The evolution of Zhengxie's poem style.Before and after the emperial examination, his life is Bumpy and rough, he was affected by heroic scholar style and poem style. He failed his ideal. Those are why there are different characters between early snd late period: the classic poetry changed from derect, heroic when he is in Chenzhou: Han Wei style when he visited Liao country in Jiayou 7th, powerful and heroic/bold when he is in Jingnan into expressing thoughts by outside things, clear, fresh when he was the first official of Hangzhou; The modern poetry changed from heroic odd to plain, loose and later magnificent, refreshing style. Zhengxie tend to fuse the style of Libai, Dufu in both classic and modern poetry in his late period.The third chapter: The poetic ideology and the position in poetry history of Zhengxie.Functionally, Zhengxie advocated pragmatism of"hope to fly with honour". The evolution of his aesthetic theory in poetry is: liking strange and perilous from before and after the No.1 position of emperial examination to late Jiayou, advocating Chong Whenying, Guoxiangzheng, pay attention to"Li and Du", persuing the style of heroic, strong, clear, and powerful When he was in Jingnan, studying the grand and skillful style of Dufu when he was in Hangzhou and Jingnan. His pooetic theory changed from Han and Li to learning from both Li and Du and"deep into Li and Du's style". The heroic poem style of Zhengxie school is the remains and new chang of"East state licentious Party"(东州逸党) in late Zhenzong and early Renzong. Based on the poetry and poetry theory of Zhengxie.We think his position in poetry history of Northern Song Danasty is:In the poetic theory, Zhengxie school is between"preferring Li to Du"of Ouyangxiu and"preferring Du to Li"of Wanganshi, both Li and Du are teachers.This is the bridge between Ouyangxiu and Wanganshi;In the relation with new chang seniors,the works of Zhengxi is closer to Sushunqin and Miyaochen ,rather than Ouyangxiu; In the potry association/contact outside the orthodox school ,Zhengxi participated"Zhongleting poet association"led by Qiangongfu in Jiayou 6th, and led another association when he was the first official of Jingnan.He was the most influential poet after Qiangongfu outside the orthodox poetry community led by Ouyangxiu.
