The Impact On The Chosen Of Perspective By Different Agent During Comprehension

Along with the cognitive science development, the proposition symbol system which take the formalism philosophy as the foundation has received more and more challenges, the perceptual symbol system which take the experienced philosophy as the foundations have more and more experiment supports. In the frame of perceptual symbol system ,Zwaan proposed a theory framework which is called the immersed experiencer frame(the IEF model).It suggests that as an immersed experiencer, comprehension is a process of percept the scene which the text described. IEF suggests the process of reading comprehension consists of three progress called: activation, construal and integration. Construal includes six dimensions: time, space, and focal entity, and perspective, background entity, and features.Lozano has studied the affecting factors of perspective chosen, finding that action may urge people to choose the actor's perspective. On the basis of Lozano's research, The first experiment is a 2-level one factor design, studying the impact on the chosen of perspective during comprenhesion. The second experiment and the third experiment are all 2×2 two factors design, respectively studied the chosen of perspective when the agent is the first personal pronoun or the third personal pronoun. The first experiment has a distinct effect on the matching state, people has a more faster reaction when the scene of the peoples'were same to the agent's. the second experiment suggests that peoples'reaction time were more faster when people's perspective match to the agent's, regardless of the agent is the pronoun or the third personal pronoun. The third experiment inspects that people has a more faster reaction when the picture was match to the the first personal pronoun's perspective.All the result suggests:(1)people comprehend the context as a immersed experiencer, verb not only active the experience representation but simulate the action and understand the scene by the agent's perspective.(2) the first personal pronouns "I" have stronger feel of substitution, when the context were descript by the first personal pronoun, people will embodied the scene on the perspective of the first personal pronoun's, regardless of who is the agent.
