Trying To Discuss The Style Of Li JianWu's Literary Criticism

The style of Li Jianwu's literary criticism is significant. Looked from the style, his literary criticism could divide into two issues. The earlier stage is the Essay-like literary criticism. There are several characters, such as life-feeling criticism, loose-gathering structure, and non-rational criticism words. The Essay-like literary have got with his criticism idea, literary idea, and literary practice. Although the Essay-like criticism has some esthetical significance, it has certain limitation. He confuses distinction between literary criticism and the literature appreciation.The later stage is rational criticism. The object of criticism is single, one clear rational judgement standards established and the criticism language politicized. At the same time, two kinds of criticism ideas ( from a political point of view and from the artistic point of view) and two language shapes (political discourse and a strong sensitivity personalized form of discourse) coexist in his later criticism. So there is a kind of inharmonious in the constitution of literary style. And the constitution of literary style lost the harmony, because of the hesitation-feeling, semantic ambiguity, singular thinking in his later criticism. So the stylistic transition had not acquired quite marked success.
