This text takes the rhetorical strategy of the tour guide's language as a research object. It intends to apply some relevant rhetoric theories to do a comparatively systemic research on applying rhetorical strategy to gain the specific rhetorical effect from the aspect of the rhetorical effect of the tour guide's language by certain innovation research, so as to enrich the research of the tour guide's language.The study is based on a great number of facts of the tour guide's language. During the period of study, the author read millions of the texts, and collected abundant facts on the tour guide's language, and then made careful observation, deep reflection and repetitious comparison analysis on the collected language facts, at last adopted the induction method. On the theories, the text is established in Chinese rhetoric theories assisted with aesthetic theory trying to make the views square with the materials.The text includes the following four parts:Part 1 : the arrestive Rhetorical StrategyThis part does the research on the application of some figure of speech, such as hyperbole, climax, questionnaire, a parataxis, and alliteration, etc. which can draw the tourists' attention and impress the tour guide's language on them more deeply.Part 2 :the graceful and euphemistic rhetorical strategyThis part mainly studies these figures of speech like pun, literary quotation and euphemism. These are regarded to be definitely well worth exploring and loose the tours' imagination and to make space of lingering impression for the tours.Part 3 : the humorous and jocose rhetorical strategy This part mainly studies these figures of speech like transposition, imitation, metonymy and rhetorical question. The function of these figures of speech is considered to condition atmosphere and create a good work relationship between each other so as to let the tours have an enjoyable trip.Part 4 the propriety in the rhetorical strategyThis part mainly studies how to make the tour guide's languages proper from the following three aspects, adapting intercommunication scene, holding intercommunication object and keeping the ego natural.
