The Book of songs is an important ancient book in the Pre-Qin Dynasty,is one classic workstudied by Confucia nist of every dynasty . In the past study, ma ny excellent scholars had madema ny good researches to it from ma ny aspects, obtained abundant research results.but along withma ny materia ls to be unearthed now, the expla nations of precursor is not always right. Forstudying the Book of songs better, accepting and spreading excellent culture of China, This textma inly uses unearthed archeology materia ls(mainly bronze inscriptions)to expla in some words ofThe Book of songs.The content includes the following four parts.The first chapter makes a simply retrospection about The Book of songs new–prove,a nddiscusses the probability of The Book of songs new–prove with emerging more and moreunearthed archeology materia ls again.The second chapter ma inly introduces two methods of The Book of songs new–prove:oneuses unearthed old character materia ls, the other uses some other unearthed archeology materia ls.And takes some examples to displa y that the two methods pla y an important role in studing ofThe Book of songs.The third chapter is the core of this article.The author almostly uses bronze inscriptions toexpla in some words of Majors odes (DAYA).and uses bronze inscriptions to refute MaoZhua nand ZhengJia n,such"昭"of"昭格",the old expla nation is"明".the author think its me aning issimilar to"格"by analysing the"卲各"in bronze inscriptions carefully and overa lly.The"淑"of"淑旂綏章".MaoZhua n thinked it as good, the author reckons it as colour by archeologymateria l.But in some aspects,the author is approve of the thoughts of MaoZhua n and ZhengJia n.The fourth chapter is Song new-prove which takes use of bronze inscriptions.d iscussing theright and wrong from some expla nation of MaoZhua n and ZhengJia n.
