The "Lecture Room", a program on the science and education channel of CCTV, It is a one cultural phenomenon which is considerable influence also quite controversial in recent years, and a cultural space includes various forces struggle and speech. It achieve the communication of traditional culture By modern means on the TV, It made reforms and Visual representation in modern history context.The "Lecture Room" has become a media cultural event that attracts the great attention. We can't argue about Moral condemnation and difference of interest, And we should put emphasis on the Production mechanism and consuming behavior of popular culture. This paper provides a method of reading the "Lecture Room" by regarding it as a culture text and a culture text of consumption society, From the Perspective of popular culture studies ,and to illuminate disputed point.The Introduction is about put forward that own research methods and Research Significance by Research status of the "Lecture Room", to pave the Way for Specific Cultural Interpretation of the "Lecture Room".The first part contains the narrative analysis and ideological analysis about the text of The "Lecture Room", Readings of TV Academic Forum from its Production meaning and Production field, As a result of the program production and coding The Media People's practice from the group norms, to show what happen in the TV Text production through the surface of meaning.The second part contains Audience Studies. Who is the audience of The "Lecture Room"? How did the program to construct audience? How did the program to connect audience and to explain. This part mainly deals with the viewing behavior and the viewing conditions of the "Lecture Room".The third part analyzes The Means of knowledge communication transformation in modern times and the Intellectuals Differentiation. The "Lecture Room" embodies the transformation of Media Intellectuals Academic Intellectuals. The Market Economy dispelled the Sacredness of the Intellectuals. The relationship between Intellectuals is being changed. Beneath appeal of the Market and Media, once again The Intellectuals felt Hesitating and Lost. The Intellectuals combine with Media lose the standpoint and ability of their independent thinking and Speech. And the Evaluation System of The Intellectuals field also has been in crisis.The creation of TV producer considering for the commercial benefit, The needs of audience about information and entertainment, The criticism of Elite Culture to Popular culture, And by the Media Economy shock, differentiation of The Intellectuals build up an whole chain that make up of Producing, Circulating and Consuming of TV Academic, turn the TV Text of The "Lecture Room" into Sociology Text, to become necessity and probability about culture analysis. This is mainly Purpose and research of this paper.
