The Resource Mobilization And Rural Culture’s Construction Enlightenment Of “Rural Lecture Room Of Confucianism”

With the advance of urbanization, the rural area of China is facing a serious decline of the culture, the rural culture lost the basis of identification and the traditional moral is decline, it’s threatening the baseline of value of the rural culture. In the background of the revival of traditional culture, Confucianism as the backbone of the traditional culture caused widespread concern in society. Especially the folk attention and promotion of the Confucianism, so that appeared a lot of organizations of revival of Confucianism, and some of them have a broad impact. The “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” is a very representativeof civil society organization in the background of revival of Confucianism.The “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” is a civil society organization which is more successful and has greater impact. The villages which carry out the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”, the social mores have been greatly improved, and the moral quality of the villagers has improved, the society had a positive impact, and caused widespread concern in society. This paper focuses on the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”, and use the Resource Mobilization Theory to analyze its resource mobilization process in five aspects. These five aspects are physical, emotional, members, media, and the political opportunities. There are four reasons for the success of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”. Firstly, the content of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” is in line with current political opportunity. Secondly, the way of resource mobilization in “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” is diversification. Thirdly, the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” satisfying the cultural needs of the villagers. The last one is the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism” respect for the dominant position of the villagers. We obtained the enlightenment for the rural culture’s construction from the reasons for the success of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”. Firstly, the rural culture’s construction should focus on the role of Confucianism. Secondly, the way of resource mobilization to the rural culture’s construction should be diversify. Thirdly, the rural culture’s construction should satisfy the cultural needs of the villagers. At last, the rural culture’s construction should respect for the dominant position of the villagers.The main structure of this study as follows: The first part discusses the background and significance of this study, and research the literature review related to this study. The second part introduces the basic situation of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”. The third part is the core part of this study that analyzes the resource mobilization process of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism”. The fourth part summarizes the reasons for the success of the “Rural Lecture Room of Confucianism “and the enlightenment for the rural culture’s construction. The fifth part is the last part of this study and is a summary of this study, and has a conclusion through this study, the enlightenment for the rural culture’s construction and the deficiency of this study.
