The Research On Menhuan With Horizon Of The Sociology Of Religion

This paper mainly researches on the Menhuan system of northwestern Islam. On the ground of previous study,we define a new annotation to Menhua due to the notinal system of RS so as to logically obtain comprehention and cognition. Then we observe the multilayer and multi-angle connotation of formating process of Menhuan power system and its structure,management and social function so that there is a novel and profound holistic cognition to Menhuan phonomenon for us.Through the researching means of combination of visiting face to face and analyzing the reference,the paper defines menhuan by the qualitative analysis to Beizhuang Menhuan.Menhuan is a religion with a perfect systamatization and rigorous structure gradually forming as core of "Laorenjia(hierareh)—follower",which is based on the essential doxy and culture and is derectly influenced by the Sufism.Its power system is a pyramidal samdwich structure,that is,Laorenjia(hierarch)—attorney—imam—follower,who are not in a same position but having relation and diversion.The characerastic of Menhuan power is that "laorenjia authorized,power hereditary,and power classified",which is meterialized by a sort of special religious culture.In addition,Menhuan has its two side functions that is advantage and disadvantage.The advantages are mainly meterialized in spirit solatia,social confirmity and social control.Also,it accordingly has three disadvantges that people is believing in the foreodnation and escaping from reality;being prone to cultivate the value of conservation so that the follower depature the society;causing the conflict between the denomination so as to impel society disassembled.Therefore,the social function of Menhuan obviously has its dual specialty.However,with the variance of the era and society,the structure of Menhuan power system has changed into incompact rhombus instead of the original rigorous pyramidal samdwich structure.A trend in relationship between "Laorenjia" and "follower" is that Laorenjia' power standard is evoluting to a miltiplied principal of part.The motivity leading to the structural veriance is that democratic administration commttee availiblely intervened the basic religious activity.Eventually,the research brings forth the power systamatic structure, operating status and social function,etc.,in Islam Menhuan.
