| It is rather flexible to use the interrogative pronoun"什么"in Chinese and"nemε"in Uyghur, and the semanteme of them is really indistinct. They have two basic functions—making up question and reference. Hence it is always the difficult point of the second language learning. It could be seen a great number of examples in the following paper to give the systematical description and analysis, by the applying of a variety of theories and researching methods of the Contrastive Linguistics, and on the basis of the former excellent studying achievements.There are five chapters. Number one is the introduction, which includes the researching significance, current situation and the logic, methods, and source of language material of the paper. The second part runs the brief discussion of the interrogative pronoun"什么"in Chinese and"nemε"in Uyghur as well as the preceding studying points and their results. The third one is about the general comparison of the usage of interrogative pronoun"什么"in Chinese and"nemε"in Uyghur. Section four and five is the key parts of the whole paper. First of all, there is a further induction about the non-interrogative usage of pronoun"什么"and"nemε", following with a rather complete forms in various using condition. Then it runs the detailed comparison of pronoun"什么"and"nemε", which is not only concerning the studying of differences but also the features in common.
