On Mao-Zedong's Exploration Of The Party's Style Of Governance During 1949-1956

Improving and perfecting the party's style of governance plays an overall role in promoting the construction of socialist democratic politics with Chinese characteristics. Mao-Zedong's exploration of the party's style of governance is an important theory resource at the beginning of the foundation of the People's Republic of China. Unprecedented democracy had been achieved at the beginning of the foundation of the People's Republic of China. On governing according to law, Mao-Zedong took a hard work in the construction of the legal system, established and improved the people's judicial system, promoted administration according to law. He created a good situation in New-China's construction. Certainly, as a result of some subjective and objective reasons, Mao-Zedong's exploration also has historical limitation. Such as: (1) He did not effectively separate the functions of the party and the government, the power of the state was centralized to the Party Committee more and more. (2)He had launched mass movement to promote the construction of democratic governance, caused the democratic political construction to a non-rationalization direction.(3)He had not correctly dealed with the relationship between the policy and the law, the exploration of the government according to law had not been able to persist etc. These had caused a tremendous loss to party and people, and had left deep lessons for the descendants. Because it is very important and urgent to improve and perfect the party's style of governance, the author take a lot of methods to research Mao-Zedong's exploration of the party's style of governance at the beginning of the foundation of the People's Republic of China, Such as: integrating theory and practice, linking to the history and reality, the methods of class analysis etc. the author want to make a systematic study on Mao-Zedong's exploration of the party's style of governance at the beginning of the foundation of the People's Republic of China, and profoundly summarize his experiences and lessons ,and advise on improving and perfecting the party's style of governance in new period.
