| This paper emphasizes, in and out of the ontological sense, the importance of musical education in university and is not primarily concerned with the introduction of the concept and characteristics of art education in Shanghai University, but also an approach to the curricula, art performances, community culture and activities of mass organization. And then it ponders over how to carry out the musical education well in a comprehensive university and proposes several suggestions.
