This paper mainly uses the method of quantitative analysis , studies the changement of vocabulary in primary teaching material of intensive reading of teaching Chinese as a second language.The paper takes 10 years as a boundary, chooses 2 sets of representative primary teaching materials of intensive reading of TCSL, establishes lexicons of three periods of the 1980s, the 1990s and the 21st century separately, from the lasted point inspects the turnover of the vocabulary in these three lexicons.The primary contents of this paper includes:1. From a macro point this papet inspects the changement of the vocabulary, parts of speech, word-class of teaching materials;2. From a micro point this papet give objective semantic combing out for the turnover of the teaching vocabulary in the 30 years;3. We give lasted inspetion of the absorption of new terms in teaching materials of the three periods.The main conclusion of this paper as follows:1. During 30 years the teaching materials get rid of blindness and the capriciousness in the vocabulary control, achieve the mutual recognition basically;2. During 30 years the trend of speech proportion of teaching materials is consistent, the reason of this phenomenon is mainly the influence of characteristic of Chinese system;3. In the process of the changes of words, the turnover of the words in the social life is significant;4. The trend of absorption of new words about materials is rising, but the materials still hold the cautious attitude.
