The Cultural Values Of The Documentary Of Overseas Chinese

This paper analyzed the documentary of overseas Chinese from the perspective of culture. At the same time, it referenced the research results of overseas Chinese. This paper used the theory of cultural change, Cultural dividing, cultural integration and cultural evolution to explore the overseas Chinese cultural changes and the features of the new cultural circle.In order to study the cultural conflicts and changes which reflected in the documentary, this paper took research from varies points of view just as different periods, different Vocations, different family status. In the end, this paper came to the conclusion: adaptation is the existence of culture. In order to introduce the new overseas Chinese cultural circle, this paper discussed on tow points. First, this paper discussed different Cultural dividing trend of different cultural background. Then, this paper discussed the common features of the overseas Chinese new cultural circle from a macro perspective. Through the multi-angle studies, this paper revealed the unique cultural values of overseas Chinese theme documentary. At the end, through the introduction of the new overseas Chinese world, the paper gave some recommendations for the Innovation of the documentary, just as the theme, the shooting point of view, and the narrative methods and so on.
