The Study Of Qian Chengzhi & His "Cang Shan Ge, The Collection Of Poems"

"Cang Shan ge ,the collection of Poems" (referred to as "Poems" for short below) was the record of Qian chengzhi's life experiences when he was young. This collection of poems was a good one of his works , and of important value. So he was also placed great importance to it. And because he wrote up the social situation and his young life experiences in detail in this collection, he believed that it would be part of the most important information of showing his whole life experiences and the special situation of the late Ming Dynasty and early Qing Dynasty.The "Poems" includes five parts, they were " guo jiang ji " , " sheng huan ji " , " xing chao ji " , " shi lu yin " , " xing jiao shi ". These five parts were ordered in accordance with the time events happened and the places he went to, and he recorded what he had seen , what he had heard and what he had thought through directly describing. Because this collection reflected on Qian chengzhi's emotional changes, and outlined details of his resistant activities, it showed the social reality, and was of good historical value. First, this paper provides an overview of each volume of the collection. And then, by appreciating the poems and looking up the historical events to prove that these poems were of historical reality. And Qian chengzhi was able to record so many true social scenes was because he was a brave warrior resisting the early Qing Dynasty and a firm follower of the Southern Ming Dynasty. Then, by analysing his whereabouts following the Southern Ming Dynasty and his poems written to his friends and others to show their important influence on his resistant activities. And all of these will be able to show the process of his changing from a warrior being ambitious and firmly resisting the early Qing Dynasty to a common poet.
