The students in an Art Vocational school are special group which Often have learning difficulties and behavioral problems. Psychological research shows that Learning difficulties and behavioral problems are closely related to their self-awareness level. In order to promote their mental health and reduce their behavioral problems, their teachers should learn more about their self-awareness development and try to enhance their self-awareness through mental activities lessons.First, under the instruction of Random cluster sampling survey, a self-awareness questionnaire was administered by the author to investigate the development of self-awareness the subjects, who came from No.35 middle school in shijiazhuang, Hebei province. Data analyses suggested that,1.Students'self-awareness Health in art vocational school is growing, but not mature, the overall level of self-awareness is low, they are easy to be extremes, with emotional impulses and instability.2.there are significant difference between the students from different grades; there are significant difference of inferiority between different students of achievement scores; there is no difference in total scores of boys and girls, but there are Extremely significant difference in both appearance and physical fitness; there is no sense of inferiority differences in learning differences between the students from urban and rural areas, but there are significant differences in learning and the social aspects, while no difference in self-respect, physical appearance.Second, two classes were randomly selected from grade one and grade two in Shijiazhuang art Vocational School, one is control class, and the other is experimental class, which received interfere experiments.The study achieved encouraging results.1. Through experiments, the students'self-awareness levels in experimental class were significantly improved, particularly for the improvement of girls.2. The level of self-awareness of students in control class of did not significantly improve. Following are some pedagogical implication:1. Secondary vocational schools should strengthen cultivating students'positive self-awareness, into a psychological inferiority to go beyond their power. FIS inferiority complex2. Secondary vocational schools should combine mental health classes and theme classes, to promote the development of the students'self-awareness through these psychological activities in classes.3. Mental health classes should focus not only on their systematic, planned, flexibility, but also on the unity between the form and the content of the activities.4. This study will serve as a model or blueprint, which can expand investigation of inferiority complex in various types of vocational schools, to provide more evidence of promoting the mental health classes in vocational schools.
