Arnold Schoenberg, an Austrian composer, pianist and educator, is the first great giant in the tide of new music in the 20th century. Meanwhile he is also considered to be the most influential figure in the history of world music. From his extraordinary life and unique art career, it is easy to see his originality in the composition of piano music and his persistence in exploring and employing the potential of pianos. His piano music covers an extensive style and rich in contents, which is rare in the history of piano music. His suite for piano, Op. 25 in Baroque style, intends to summarize Schoenberg's early music and demonstrates how to compose this kind of new music. Therefore, some of his perfect music processes and constructions have reached a very high artistic peak.This research analyzes his music in late Romantic period and the features of his composition. It makes an overall analysis of the different narration of his Op. 25 and also the treatment of"flavor"in the play and innovation of construction writing.This paper is based on several reference books and develops itself through Schoenberg's life experiences.
