The thesis aims to explore the effectiveness of the implement of Team Learning in College English (non-English majors) class of Higher Vocational College, i.e. Whether Team Learning can promote English learning of team members, improve relationship between each other and enhance the ability of communication and cooperation? By consulting library collection, making class observation, distributing questionnaires and interviewing, the author has found that Team Learning in College English class can greatly help to promote students'English Learning, and to some extent, improve relationship between each other and enhance their ability of communication and cooperation. Based on analysis of the study result, the author summed up some effective strategies of Team Learning, in order to activate students' interest in English, improve students' autonomous learning, cooperative awareness and abilities so as to promote the English teaching and learning quality of Higher Vocational College.The thesis can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about the background and significance of the study; the second chapter is review of library collection; the third chapter talks about study on the effectiveness of team learning in college English class; the fourth chapter analyses the study result; the last chapter discusses the effective strategies of team learning in college English class.
