Research On Development And Utilization Of Revolutionary Culture Resources In Zunyi

The course of China's revolution was extremely hard and bitter, especially the Long March, a two-year strategic movement aiming to break the enemies' blockade, commands deep and endless reverence among later generations. In order to establish a new country which practises the people's democratic dictatorship, revolutionary martyrs had been waging a resolute struggle against the Three Big Mountains—imperialism, feudalism and bureaucrat-capitalism. This indelible glorious course not only left a lot of heroic and moving deeds, but also abundant invaluable historic resources containing revolutionary culture. At present, with the continuous development of human civilization, it has become a realistic problem to excavate, protect and develop the characteristic revolutionary culture, and with connotations of the times make it spiritual wealth shared by humankind.Being influenced deeply by cultures of Bashu and Central Plains, Zunyi is a comparatively developed area in economy and culture in Guizhou Province. It is famous not only for its North Guizhou culture and its well-known wines, among which Maotai is the typical representative, but also as a place where Zunyi Meeting was hold, a meeting saving the Communist Party of China, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army and China's revolution and thus regarded as a turning point in China's revolution.China's revolution left deep footmarks in Zunyi, and during the Long March the classic campaign of crossing Chishui four times, which was proud by Mao Zedong, took place here. As a result, a lot ot revolutionary culture sites such as Zunyi Meeting site, Loushanguan Battle site were left and Zunyi revolutionary culture resources were formed. How to develop and make use of these resources scientifically and reasonably so as to realize their historic value will be discussed in this paper.There are four parts in this paper:Introduction. This part mainly introduces background of the thread, the basis and significance, research content and research method. Ⅰ.Revolutionary history of Zunyi. This part mainly traces back to the historic facts happening in Zunyi during the Long March of the Red Army and states the special status of Zunyi in the course of China's revolution.Ⅱ.Revolutionary culture resources in Zunyi. This part mainly introduces the connotations, formation, and features of the resources, as well as the value and significance of developing and using the resources.Ⅲ.Problems and countermeasures. This part introduces the present situation of developing and using the resources, and puts forward some scientific and reasonable suggestion.
