Studies On Culture Resource Industrialization In Qufu

Qufu is world widely considered as " Home of Confucius and Mencius", "Capital of Propriety" and entitled as "East Holy City", where is the hometown of Confucius , the well-known thinker, educator and the initiator of Confucianism. It owns many pieces of rare cultural relic, historical site, classical collections. Qufu is honored to be firstly denominated as the "Famous Historical Culture City" by State Department of China. Confucian Mansion, Confucian Temple, Confucian Forest were placed in "World Heritage List". Long history, extensive cultural connotation and rich culture resource are all the advantages of development of culture industry.Basing on the rich culture resource, the government of Qufu city has made great efforts on developing culture industry and has gotten remarkable progress in recent years. Many industries such as travel, artistic shows, entertainments, souvenir manufacturing and broadcasting significantly developed. At the same time, we have to clearly recognize that many problems, namely, obsolete idea of culture industry, small scale of manufacturing, less advanced municipal infrastructure, out-of-date consumption idea and products with low content of science and technology have exited in the development of culture industry in Qufu. These became the "bottlenecks" restricting the local development of culture industry.This article precisely embarks from the realistic demand and current situation, uses the scientific method which the on-spot investigation and the theory proof unifies, analyzes present situation of Qufu culture industry from many aspects. It also proposes suggestions, indicates the directions of the development of culture industry.Main content of this paper:Preface.
