Motivation is the energizing and directing of behavior,the force behind our yearning for food,our longing for sexual intimacy,our desire to achive,our need to belong.It is considered to be the internal energy of behavior. As an important branch of motivation study,the study of academic motivation is developing widely in education and psychology fields. Academic motivation is the tendency to find school-related activation meaningful and worthwhile and therefore attempt to get the maximum benefit from them. It is the key factor of restricting academic behaviors and academic quality, and which forming and developing is influenced by a great deal of factors. Understanding the relationship between emotion, self-knowing and self-evaluation, social-culture factors and academic motivation may be central to developing more effective teaching strategies.In this study,we use the diagnosing scale of studying motives which had been revised by Zhou Bucheng who works in the psychological department of China east normal university as investigating tool.Studying motive was investigated compared and analyzed disparity in grade among 470 junior middle school students in four middle schools in Taicang. Being for the purpose of understanding the Taicang Junior middle school student academic motivation the condition.The results indicated that:㈠Looked from the overall situation: The Taicang Junior middle school students in the success motive, the test anxious, the accountability and the request standard aspect's motive level are in the medium level.㈡Looking from the success motive: The Taicang Junior middle school students between the grade, the sex and the school have the obvious difference.㈢Looking from the test anxious degree: The Taicang Junior middle school students have certain grade difference, does not have the obvious difference between the sex and the school.㈣Looking from own accountability: The Taicang Junior middle school students have the obvious difference between the grade, does not have the obvious difference in the sex and the school aspect.㈤Looking from the request standard - supposition scene: The Taicang Junior middle school students have the obvious difference between the grade, does not have the obvious difference in the sex and the school aspect.This research conducts the research from the student academic motivation's angle, tries hard primary cause which discovers the present influence junior middle school student academic motivation to reduce, and attempts to try to find out a set enhances the junior middle school student academic motivation the new pattern, provides the theory and the practice basis for the school psychologically healthy education's further development.This research carries on the investigation and the research to the junior middle school student academic motivation, from the success motive, the test anxious, aspects and so on sense of responsibility and request level carries on the correlation analysis, understood that affects the student academic motivation the primary factor, proposed that suggested target-oriented, provides the theory basis and the practice instruction for the junior middle school teacher's education teaching, thus enhancement junior middle school education administration work pointed and effectiveness.
