Feng menglong once said in"Qing Jie":"I want to set up the education based on emotion to teach the various all living things."This speech expressed his advocation to the view on education based on emotion and it initiated educational research about the view on education based on emotion.About the situation,scholars mainly study beginning with his two novels:"San Yan"and"Qingshi".First,they are Feng Menglong's representative works with a certain ideological and artistic standard. Especially the "San Yan" whose status and influence in the history of the ancient vernacular chinese novel is recognized.Secondly,the two novels reveal Feng Menglong's personal ideological inclinations and display the later period of Ming Dynasty and the various human sensibilities.Although Feng Menglong did not write"San Yan"and"Qingshi" personally, while he editing, processing, re-creation,he must have assimilated his own social life,relationships and life changing experience into the works.Therefore,the two works reflect Feng's ideology.At the same time, perspecting different stories,we may also see his aesthetic values,including his Emotional thought.Basing Feng Menglong's Emotional thought as the main subject, taking"San Yan"and"Qingshi"as the center As the advanced stage of the development of the emotion homaging in Later period of the Ming Dynasty, Feng Menglong's Emotional thought engendered with certern background,such as the cultural, theoretical and trends in society and it realized in some way.It is noticeable that there are many correspond, similar and even same stories in"San Yan"and"Qingshi".This phenomenon will be the breach point of this text. Unlike the previous approaches, this text tries to reveal Feng Menglong's different intention and text characteristics in the same story while in two kinds of text comparisons.This text is roughly and mainly formed of following three parts: In Chapter One,I describe the "Emotional atmosphere"of the later period of Ming briefly, mainly exploring from the ethos and victorianism of the time. In Chapter two,I discuss Feng Menglong's Emotional thought and explore its vision in "San Yan"and "Qingshi". That is,emotion is the source of all things;highlight the social potency of the emotion boldnessly;affirm and advocate the reasonable ardor and freedom of marriage;respect for women and the praise of human relationships and friendship.I also inspecte the theoretical basis and the paradox in his thought:Definitely the reasonable passion and promotes the woman chastity idea; Advocated the equality of the sexes and strictly adheres to the treatment of women as inferiors idea; Initiative freedom of marriage and maintenance feudalism,etc.. In Chapter Three,I chose certern cantoes in"Qingshi" and "San Yan" that have similar stories to analyze them comparatively and reveal the difference and characteristic of"San Yan" and "Qingshi" in many art ideas and practices,such as the ethos bearing,aesthetic taste and language,descriptions of characters and polt,etc. The infection effect of "San Yan" made it another "Qingshi". "San Yan"load bearing too many consciousness and desires of Feng Menglong individual and even the entire social.
