On The Design Thought In XiuShiLu

The aim of this article is to research the design ideas in XiuShiLu. The thesis obtains from the historical literature, through the exhaustive reading of text, analysis of the principles contained in the lacquer material, Taigu and decoration. Analysis the design ideas of the author and the source of the idea. To explore the ancient Chinese design spirits reflect in XiuShiLu.China's Ming dynasty's lacquer is a peak of prosperity, and Ming dynasty is also the economic and cultural boom period, it was summarized previous scientific, technological and cultural. The author was very familiar with the ancient books and his Knowledge was very rich, in addition to his own experience and the thing he see and hear, so he write the book XiuShiLu that spread long. The book reflects the brilliant achievements of civil Lacquer in the late Ming Dynasty, ancient Chinese traditional create ideals, the Nature-Human Integration ideals and moral pursuit of HuangCheng.. Natural ideas and principles that reflects from the lacquer material, Taigu and decoration in the book, is on the basis of traditional culture , inheritance ZhouLi and ZhouYi, and is the specific use in the design of lacquer. Aesthetic ideal of Imitation nature and the moral pursuit of Nature-Human Integration is the centre idea of XiuShiLu that permeated in the text. Unifies the movement rule of the nature and the moral ethics of the society, respects nature and human's morality. These design idea that reflect in XiuShiLu can still inspiring and guiding today's design activities. This also the significance why the author studies it.The first chapter is about general survey in XiuShiLu times, Overall understanding and positioning about the book and the book features. Focus on the overall understanding and positioning about XiuShiLu. Finally , briefly discussed the characteristics of the book, and description from two aspects, the layout of the article, and the characteristics of the sentences.The second, third, forth chapters are on the basis of the text reading of XiuShiLu, about lacquer material, lacquer Taigu and decoration. Analysis design ideas implicated in the text. Such as, the principle of use natural material, practical and aesthetic principles in taigu design, principles of natural decoration and harmonious design ideas.The fifth chapter is seek the source of design ideas which implicated in XiuShiLu. Focus analysis the inheritance and development of ZhouLi, and the use of ZhouYi.The sixth chapter is the conclusion and expectation, it is the summary to entire thesis. Analysis of design ideas in four aspects, on the basis of the previous analysis .First , Imitate Nature. Second, combination of functionality and beautiful. Third, harmonious design principle. Fourth, "nature-human integration" ideas.
