The Exploration Of Traditional Container Lacquer Decoration Language

To explore the Chinese traditional lacquer art intrinsic aesthetic value and design ideas in this paper, the container class lacquer was selected for the study. On the basis of archaeological research on the existing, sorting out and analyzing the literature of traditional container class lacquer related and artifacts unearthed pictures, and combined with history, Chinese ancient philosophy, psychology and aesthetics and so on, the unique decorative language was excavated with a starting point of design.The historical development of the lacquer art was summarized, and the artistic features of that in various periods was analyzed systematically. Taking traditional lacquer container class as research target, the main shapes and form features of utensil was concluded, and the unity of practical and aesthetic was further summarized. Through analyzing of the black and red of main constituent elements of utensil colors, aesthetic characteristics of lacquer colors. The main subject matters, pattern constitute forms, and expression techniques of utensils patterns were summarized as well as the formal beauty features embodied in tradition utensils patterns was also generalized. At the end of this paper, the positive significance of design ideas embodied in the traditional lacquer art was in depth analyzed and rational thought.
