With the rapidly development of television business, the TV culture formed, human artistic structure started to carry on new arrangement and combination, a new region of art,"television art", which related with the television and medium was produced. Comparing with the theory and practice of the television art, we found it has already come to the turning point of development in China now. Under the impact of"homogenization"and"pan-entertainment"tide, where should the Chinese television art go becomes an important topic for the theoretical research.At this time, the Media event becomes an important reference for us to research the television medium effect as"high holiday of mass media". The huge influence of the Media event has presented intense impact on the television art and becomes a breakthrough for conformity and development of the television art.Under the cross-subjects views such as the communication theory, the semiotics, the sociology, the arts and so on, this article is based on two baselines, the theory and the reality, and attempts to elucidate the television art's diversification influenced by the medium event:First, we utilize the general principle of semiotics, refer to Hall's theory,"The Coding and Decoding", to define"Media event"and"Television art"and to establish the theory that the influences which the media event brings to television art. Then utilizes some huge media event cases to analyses how the television art changed in the media event. To understand and lead the television art and media event benign interaction in the true-life, so that TV media practice innovation in our country will be impulse.
