A Study On Chinese National Spirit-Nurturing Under The Developing Of Cultural Industries

Since the second half of the 20th century, Cultural industries have been greatly developed in the world, occupies an outstanding share of the location in the growth of the world economy. In some developed countries, the cultural industry has become a pillar industry. Although China's development of cultural industry began with the reform and opening up, and in recent years has the sign to reach the momentum of rapid development, but compared with the world, especially the developed countries China's cultural industries is still backward. After China's accession to the WTO, with the relaxation access to cultural market, foreign cultural products swarm in,. Even worse, some Western developed countries, taking advantage of its strong cultural industry, not only sell its cultural products, but also increased input of Western cultural values which was embedded in ,making the traditional Chinese culture, socialist values ideas, and the national consciousness encounter serious challenge, bringing in a new set of problems to foster the spirit of the Chinese nation. In this essay, with the guidance of Marxism, I try to analyze clearly the intrinsically links between the cultural industries and the spirit of the Chinese nation, the opportunities and challenges brought by development of cultural and which principles it must adhere to and which measures it must take during the process. These essays include 4 parts.The first part of this thesis is the introduction. The background, basis, research status of this topic and interpretations of the main concepts related to the thesis are introduced respectively.The second part analyzes the inner relationship between the cultural industries and nurturing the spirit of the Chinese nation in details. It also notes that cultural industries are the emerging carriers of nurturing the spirit of the Chinese nation. It mainly concerns three aspects: the times background on the rise of China's cultural industry; the duality of cultural industries and the inherent links between the cultural industries and nurturing the spirit of the Chinese nation; as a new carrier, the advantages of cultural industries in nurturing the spirit of the Chinese nation.The third part makes an analysis of the opportunities and challenges brought by the cultural industry development in nurturing the spirit of the Chinese nation based on comparing Chinese culture with western culture. It also pointes out: the development of cultural industries in nurturing the spirit of Chinese nation has provided a rare opportunity, not only helping to rich the ways and contents of cultivating the spirit of the Chinese, but also activating the environment of nurturing the spirit of Chinese nation.
