A Study On Colloquial Poem Theory Of Yu Jian

After poem writing experienced two waves of colloquialism,the contemporary poem world in China come to a prosperous period,though behind which underlying huge crisis is brewing or emerging.Colloquial poem was misunderstanded by the outlier to be spoken poem.More seriously,a large public have wrongly believed that the colloquial poem that persued by a small fraction of Chinese poet is equal to spoken poem.With this severe circumstances,the author deeply feel the need to reconsider the assertion of colloquial poem from its main advocate and practitioner,namely Jian Yu. The correction of misunderstanding viewpoints,or the future developing direction of colloquial poem all lie in the reconsideration of assertions from Jian Yu.To meet this need,this thesis dedicates to the research on his poetic works.By focus on "How to write'and "What to write about",I presents a systematic review on the Yu's poetic contestation which characterized as "colloquially poem writing","rejection of use of metaphor","meaning style",and "anti-sublimation".The orgnization of the thesis isIntroduction.Specify research object and objection of this thesis,briefly review the literatures that studies on poemtic works of Jian Yu.ChapterⅠ:Describe the proposition of"colloquially poem writing"and gives a exact analysis."Colloquially poem writing"is a core proposition in Yu's poetic works.I exam the causes why this proposition was put forward,then differentiate and analyze the controversial "Hard Mandarin Writing" and "Soft Dialect Writing".This thesis regards colloquialism as a faith that not only about choice of languages but also identify with the core status of language in contemporary poem writing.I also present self-individual viewpoint about the proposition "colloquially poem writing".This thesis believe that if a little revision on the expression of Yu's proposition possible,his proposition could pass the test of time and misunderstanding.ChapterⅡ:Describe the proposition of"rejection of use of metaphor"and gives a exact analysis on the underlying meaning of it."Rejection of use of metaphor"is another core proposition in Yu's poetic works. The author deeply explores the meaning behind the proposition,and point out that "metaphor"is word with special meaning that represents the violent custom. Meanwhile,response to the change of language enviroment,object that the proposition to aim at is also changed.From this perspective we can easily understand that why Yu correct his proposition"back off from metaphor"from"rejection of use of metaphor" two years later.ChapterⅢ:Review on the theory of language sense from Jian Yu,and discussion about the last link in Yu's poetic theory—"poem of daily life"."Meaning style'or language sense is the third core proposition in Yu's poetic theory.The thesis presents a course of language sense that from "voice"to "life",and point out that the expression "language sense is a meaning style of life"or "language sense is a meaning style of poem"from Yu is not a nonsense repetition but a flexible response to the changes in the poem world.In addition,the author also think that the proposition of "seek poetic meaning in daily life"from Yu represents not only the fundamental difference between "folk writing"and "intellectual writing"but also a subversive idea to the existed writing customs.Summary and Conclusion:Summary the main results and opinions,specify Yu's poetic theory with characteristics of systematic and can advance with the times.Through the analysis,the thesis safely come to a conclusion.Which is, uncontrary to the poet from Kainozoic era take a temporary strategy to use colloquialism as a weapon to resist the word power from elite,Yu's theory on colloquial poem is systematic and unassailable.The former three proposition,namely "colloquially poem writing","rejection of use of metaphor",and "Meaning style",are all help to solute the question related to poem writing,especially gives answer to "How to Write".The ultimate ends of these proposition,by viewpoints of the author,is to figure out "what to write about"or the attitude of poem writing.On the other hand,Yu's theory on colloquial poem can be updated,or its expression can be revised as a response to the changes in the poem world.The property of systematic and renewable makes the theory full of vitality.The original and creative points in this thesis lies in:(1) A systematic exposition.Not a disorder description about only one or two propositions of Yu's theory,but a systematic exam aiming to find the linkage among these propositions.(2) A dynamic analysis on Yu's theory.The author never take Yu's theory as a unchanging rule.Contrarily,I consider his theory as time-varing,and check the changes of his theory for a long period of 20 years.Moreover,I also explore the underlying reasons that led to these changes.
