A Study On The Feasibility Of Applying Project-Based Learning To The English For Specific Purposes In Secondary Vocational Schools

PBL is the shortened form of "Project-Based Learning" which is a mode of a kind of probing into study .This text demonstrates that PBL applies to the English for Specific Purposes(ESP) in vocational school is feasible in theory, Which is helpful to expand a new mode study theory of ESP in vocational school .Enriching and developing the theory system of PBL .Promoting the English teachers in vocational school to change the sense of teaching and the sense of the students ,which is helpful to find out the efficient way of bringing up the spirit of innovation and the ability of practice .Pushing education for all-round development forward in English teaching .Students grows up in freedom ,cooperation ,exploration .Classroom really full of vigor and energy .This text contrasts the practice of others subjects in PBL and combines the analyzing of experiment by myself .accordingly ,we can concluded that:1. Improving the mark of the ESP ,Students not only can master knowledge ,but also can improve their quality .2. Improving students' ability of analyzing and solving problem .It can also improve the ability of studying by themselves and team cooperation.3. Bringing up learner autonomy and improving the interesting of learning. Students turn reception learning into learner autonomy .The study enthusiasm make a great progress. Creative thinking been dug deeply .4. Boosting up communication between teachers and students and bringing up students' original creating .PBL emphasizes the good relationship between teachers and students ,between classes ,between students .This text demonstrates that applying the PBL teaching mode to the ESP of vocational school is feasible in practice .Students and teachers in vocational school using the mode can improve study efficiency and quality ,which establishes the base of practice for the future's researching...
