The theme of this dissertation will be analyzed in three historical stages respectively, that is Jian'an, Huangchu and Taihe stage in the Wei Dynasty in the three Kingdoms Period. The new policy variants of the Confucianism will be analyzed, which are involved with specific current affairs and then have strong influences on the mental states of Caozhi. Having been affected, these mental states will have some special impacts on the literary works of Caozhi. So the theme in each of the three stages will be studied in three sequent aspects: new variants of Confucianism, new variants of the Caozhi's mental states and his literary works. The obscure influences of one to another in the three aspects will be inspected thoroughly in details.This dissertation is consisted of three chapters. In Chapter One, Four Recruitments of Intelligences will be studied in order to tell the truth that people with high talents and capacities were respected very much in Jian'an times. Affected by this atmosphere, Caozhi was thirsty to have great achievements with strong ambitions. Influenced by the positive attitude toward life, Caozhi tried to combine his works with the realities of the society. His emotion was so strong that it could not be reserved. The cause why Caopi carried out the Jiupin Zhongzheng System will be analyzed in Chapter Two, so as to discover how the system controlled the mental world of the intellects. The shadow of the times and the special sufferings of Caozhi himself harmed his emotions very much, so he just wanted to keep himself alive humbly and sadly, enduring all the insults. And a kind of gloomy and genuine passion presented in his works under this sad emotion. In Chapter three, the retro new variants of the Confucianism will be analyzed through studying the Fuhua Case in the Taihe times. Under this unique atmosphere, Caozhi tried to be loyal to the Court, suffering any insult. So, this mental state was expressed in his works as a kind of sincere, deep, and royal style.
