The clan Dou of Fufeng is an important literary family in the Tang Dynasty. Especially in the Middle of Tang Dynasty, this family became mature in its literary and academic achievements, which is representative in that time. This thesis aims to probe into changes in the Fufeng-clan Dou's holistic characteristics of literature by studying the case based on the integrate point and sphere. Through studying the clan Dou's literature and learning, this thesis looks into its style of study, family and writing and tries to find out some things about the literature and the learning of the Shizu in the Middle of Tang Dynasty. According to the unearthed documents, it also researches Dou Shu-xiang's marriage, business, sociality, and creative writing, while keeping an eye on Dou Shu-xiang's especial status in the clan Dou. And based on a comprehensive analysis on the family's literary and academic achievements, this thesis has a topic research on Dou Shu-xiang and the five Dous, while emphasizing on their influences on one another in terms of official careers, characters and compositions.The thesis includes four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction. The second chapter is about the literature and learning of the Fufeng-Dou clan in the Middle of Tang Dynasty. The third chapter is about the case study on Dou Shu-xiang's Tombstone: a study based on the unearthed documents. The last chapter is about the separated researches of the Five Dous.
