Wang Bo,as the head of "the four standouts in early Tang Dynasty",has a great contribution to the literature of Tang Dynasty.Scholars used to research on his poem and essay, is remembered by generations for Teng Wang Ge Xu,but most of his parallel prose are overlooked by common people,and few one has wholly discuss and systematically study on his parallel writing.There are more than one hundred Wang Bo's Pian Wen remained,which are classified into Xu,Fu,ShuQi,BiaoSong,BeiMing,LunZan and so on.The great achievement of them is Xuwen and ShuQi.As the excellent literator suffering great misery,Wang Bo expressed the strong self-consciousness in his articles,we can see the inflection and modulation of his emotion from Xu,Fu in different period,and Wang Bo's ShuQi showed out his excellent political ability and distinctive literature theory.The thesis analyzed the content and feature of creative work in Wang Bo's parallel prose in details with reference with Wang Bo's life,journey and change of his thought and emotion.Wang Bo's parallel prose came forth in the first stage of Tang Dynasty when the parallel prose is in bloom,which made the content of his parallel prose inherit some feature of Six Dynasty,but have much more distinctive feature of times.Meanwhile Wang Bo's parallel prose had intensive personality feature because of his genius in creative ability.The artistic conception in his parallel proses was graceful and grand,narration and describing scene was full of emotion,also had some nature and fresh works. Befaced with the flashy style of writing,Wang Bo not only put forward the demand of innovating the style of writing,but made a example in creative work.In a word,Wang Bo play a role as the forerunner for the prosperous of literature in Tang dynasty.
