As an ancient philosophical concept, Naturalism is not only a special kind of research methods but also a belief in the world. As the same of other philosophical ideas, the naturalistic philosophy has gone through a long process of development and at different stages of developing show different characteristics. There is a lot of naturalism studying at home and abroad, but it is few from the analysis of natural philosophy apart from the thought of Rousseau's thought except the Rousseau's natural education. Rousseau's natural philosophy is a stage in the development of natural philosophy, it reflects a special history and thoughts. Rousseau is a well-known initiation thinker in France in the 18th century, he received a huge result in the aspect of philosophy, education, social politics and so on. In this paper, Rousseau's philosophic theory, as well as his naturalism philosophic theory which used in the aspect of education, society, politics and so on are studied. And this article has also analyzed the significance and value of Rousseau's naturalism thought.First of all, the article is from the definition, the characteristics and the history of the nature to carry out the inspection of the naturalism. Different from the other philosophies the meaning of naturalism is ambiguous and inaccurate. This article came from the cleaning up for the west philosophy theory, and analysis the conclusion of home and abroad. From this basis, the paper receives a definition of natural philosophy from ontology, epistemology, methodology, and values. This definition points out that the core of naturalism is studying nature, human and society by the naturalism.
